Client Type: Hospital, Community
Location: Renovo, PA
Services Provided: Landscaping, junk removal, hardscaping, pressure-washing, repair work
Timeline: 1 week
The Challenge (Before)
Like many rural facilities, Bucktail Medical Center faced ongoing challenges in keeping up with outdoor maintenance. Overgrown lawns, clutter, and aging landscaping beds didn’t reflect the quality of care happening inside the building. The facility needed a fresh, welcoming look but lacked the time and resources to get the work done.
Our Approach
Our team packed our bags (and trailers) and headed to Renovo, PA where we organized and lead a team of volunteers for a week-long clean-up event. Our work included:
Weeding, edging, and stoning landscape beds
Junk and debris removal
Pressure washing of the building, sidewalks, and patios
Interior painting
General repair work
In addition to performing much of the work and providing supplies, our team provided the planning, coordination, and leadership to ensure everything ran smoothly and that the volunteers could maximize their impact.

The Results (After)
By the end of the project, the transformation was clear. The grounds looked more neat, fresh, and professional. Outdoor spaces were safer and more welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors. Volunteers felt energized and proud to have contributed to a project that directly impacts community health and wellness
This wasn’t just about aesthetics — it was about creating an environment that reflects the quality of care provided inside Bucktail Medical Center.
Client Feedback
"Jarren and Bob do absolutely phenomenal work. Their attention to detail is top-notch. I would recommend them for any future projects we may need completed. In addition to great work, they are also very service oriented!!"
(CEO, Bucktail Medical Center).

In addition to this wonderful feedback, this work was recognized in a public press release by Bucktail's leadership.
Why It Matters
This project wasn't about the recognition, it was about giving back to the community. At JT Works, we’re proud to use our skills not just for home improvement, but for community betterment too.
